Thats when you run back to base and get called " a pansy" for retreating. Even though you have no healers on your team or are low on health. Basically AB chat allows for the opposition to gripe when players attempt to sway the almost defeated battle in there favour.

If your lucky this will continue thru to the next game when the same player remarks about how they beat you XX v's XXX in the previous game.

I don't think teamwork has much to do with your situation. I would think for the build your running wether it's cripshot ranger or trapper you would rely on knowing the map at least enough that you know where the enemy can teleport from and when you see that all of your team are dead you make your way closer to base where you can have access to another two portals allowing you easy escape. Monitoring the in game map so that you have knowledge of what shrines are owned would also allow you to be in the right spot at the right time.

why people get so upset and nerdy at a game? Enjoy it, or get a life.

Who gives a toss if you got 'owned' by 8 players. It's not meant to be fair. it's not 1 v 1, 'I hit you, then you hit me' kind of game.

And to be honest, 8 players vs 1 is a waste of time and not exactly smart on their part. Or maybe they just took the piss at you. When I see a mob, I also usually run away, when I see a mob I can handle, I try to waste as much of their time as possible.

I'm more pissed of about the leechers, leavers, CAPSLOCK kiddies, and all that sort. I have nothing but contempt for whingers, nerds, kiddies and bullies. It's simpler to ignore them than to grant them the attention they seek to lighten up their pathetic little lives.

I love the groups/people who think capping the Roost is the most important...
I argued with one guild and they said the Dragon does 1000000 damage. I told him to learn to play and he said I should learn to play because we were winning (2 of our alliance groups were in the team the other was this pretty lame guild) and that the Dragon Roost was indeed the way to win...he then said he will turn off team chat to ignore my comments. Then I told him he actually needs to learn to play because teamchat only blocks/unblocks your squad of 4, not your allies.

Funny stuff.

So I hadn't been to AB for a while and needed 10k of faction for my ranger that I'm now started playing alot again, to get to the endgame quests.

I decided to run some AB again only i took my pvp ranger instead. I ran with Poison Arrow {e} and pin down 2 stances and troll and kindle arrows. Basically I wasn't really that self sufficient and didn't really do alot of damage on targets.

Poison was great though because it made the pressure on warriors and monks work well.

We lost a few games then we started winning, I changed my strategy to defending the points we'd capped and eventually that lead to some assassin going off at me because I would fire pin down , lay a snare then run him back towards our capped shrine.

His main statement being "Why don't you fight me alone" lol you idiot.

Well 2 funny AB 'chats' from my night.

First - A Kurzicks Wammo was sounding off about what else...touch rangers...just really the usual.
He managed to kill the stray toucher that was argueing with him while typing.....then the very instance the wammo stopped to type about his killing accomplishment... 3 touchers gang'touched' him to death....many 4 letters word were said and he left

Second - A fissure armor wearing MM was boasting about his armor and how 'leet' it was....well a couple minutes into the battle this message went through "stick your fow armor up your butt" (well not butt... but you know). He got caught slacking by an assasin......and shortly after left.
